Is it possible to hide/encode/encrypt php source code and let others have
the system?

somebody wants to buy my system which is wrote in PHP. I am planning to
sell him the system but not the source code. So, I am wondering if there
is some way to hide / encrypt / encode my source code before I send him
the system. Thanks!
